Waiuku STP – Another Set of Fine Screens Awarded to Hydroflux

Hydroflux was awarded another fine screening application, this time for the Waiuku STP which is located in the southwest part of Auckland.

With over a dozen projects being delivered across New Zealand and Australia relating to fine screens, for high efficiency primary and pre-MBR screening, the HUBER RPPS and LIQUID Drum Screens have proven themselves to be the most effective drum screen technology for the market.

“Our drum screen installations in the application of pre-MBR screening dates to 2007, where inclined drum screen technology was used to protect submerged ultrafiltration membranes. Since then, we have supplied numerous inclined and horizontal drums to protect membrane bioreactors, or to simply increase screenings capture.

We have provided many pre-fabricated inlet works to district councils across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific, and we can even incorporate intake tanks to manage multiple pump station feeds, bypass chambers with manually raked screens, grit and grease removal, controls and automation and complete site works” says Shaun Perry, Business Development Manager of Hydroflux New Zealand.
