HySludge® Mobile Biosolids System Awarded to Hydroflux

Hydroflux has been awarded the design, build and commissioning of a HySludge® Mobile Biosolids Dewatering Container by a major regional council in New South Wales.
The system will be used to dewater sludge from lagoons and ponds to form a spadable cake. All process equipment and controls will be housed within a modified container, with the final dewatered biosolids being discharged into a skip.
A HUBER Q620 Inclined Screw Press will be used as the dewatering technology due its proven performance in similar applications, low energy demand and high performance.
HySludge® – Dewatering
- Four sizes available; from 50 through to 500 kg/h of dry solids
- Low speed high-performance HUBER Inclined Screw Press technology
- HyConnect® remote monitoring available for ongoing support
HySludge® – Thickening
- Two sizes available; from 50 through 200 kg/h of dry solids
- High efficiency HUBER SDISC technology is used to thicken sludge to 5 – 6%DS
- HyConnect® remote monitoring available for ongoing support

- Municipal sewage and water treatment plants
- Industrial wastewater treatment plants
- Mining decentralised treatment plants
Rental Options
- Hydroflux maintains a rental fleet of HySludge® systems in addition to HySEP clarification processes.
- Typical applications include lagoon dewatering, temporary emergency relief during maintenance or digester/tank cleaning
The systems are built in Australia/New Zealand and can be provided with upstream sludge extraction and storage, discharge conveyors and gen sets.
